The projected production timeline is 8 to 10 working weeks following the final approval of shop
drawings, the receipt of a confirmed Purchase Order, and the advance payment. Any delays related to
approvals, payments, material selections, site readiness, or dependencies on the client’s side will
automatically extend the delivery timeline without penalty to DTALE OBJECT
2. Payment Terms
A 50% advance of the total quoted amount (including GST) is required at the time of order
confirmation. A further 35% is due before the beginning of upholstery and finishing works.
The remaining 15% balance must be paid prior to dispatch.
Production, procurement, and dispatch will strictly adhere to these payment milestones. DTALE
OBJECT reserves the right to halt work in the event of delayed payments.
3. Scope & Exclusions
Unless otherwise specified in writing, the following items are excluded and will incur additional
charges:
Marble/Stone, Fabric/Leather/Veneer, Throw Cushions, Installation, Packing, Transportation, On-site
Handling
All applicable statutory taxes, duties, and levies will be enforced in accordance with current
regulations.
4. Material Specifications
The standard materials used in production consist of American Hardwood or Teak Wood, MR Grade
Plywood, High-Density Foam, and Grey Fabric Finish Laminate for internal surfaces. We also utilise
premium hardware sourced from Hettich or Häfele (Germany). Please note that natural variations in
wood grain, veneer, stone texture, colour tone, and polish are inherent features and should not be
regarded as defects.
5. Variation Tolerance
Given the custom, handcrafted nature of our products, variations in dimensions and finishes of up to
±5–8% may occur. These variations will not be deemed defects as long as the functionality and design
integrity remain intact.
6. Site Conditions & Additional Work
Any extra structural tasks, civil adjustments, electrical modifications, carpentry changes, or
unforeseen site conditions that were not included in the original quotation will be billed at
actual cost.
The site must be prepared and accessible during the delivery and installation process.
7. Cancellation & Returns
All products are made to order. Once an order is confirmed, it cannot be canceled, modified,
returned, or exchanged. If a client decides to cancel a project, all payments made will be non
refundable.
8. Installation Charges
On-site installation and furniture assembly will incur a fee of 5% of the total order value,
unless a different agreement is established in writing.
9. Storage Policy
Finished products will be stored at no cost for 7 calendar days following the notification of
readiness. After this period, daily storage fees will be incurred until the items are dispatched.
10. Post-Installation Services
Any additional cleaning, re-packing, handling, or site visits following the initial installation will
incur charges.
11. Delivery Inspection
The client or their representative is required to inspect the goods upon delivery. Any visible
damage must be reported immediately in writing. Please note that claims made after
installation will not be considered.
12. Warranty Clause
DTALE OBJECT offers a limited warranty of 12 months from the installation date, covering
manufacturing defects in structure and workmanship. Please note that this warranty excludes
coverage for:
Fabric, leather, veneer, marble, glass, or consumables.
Damage resulting from misuse, negligence, improper handling, water exposure, or
adverse environmental conditions.
Normal wear and tear.
To submit a warranty claim, please provide a written request along with supporting images.
The decision regarding repairs or rectifications is solely at the discretion of DTALE OBJECT.
13. Nullification of Third-Party Work
Any repairs or modifications made by third parties without prior written consent will
immediately void the warranty.
14. Atmospheric & Environmental Effects
Shifts in drawer alignment, as well as minor expansions or contractions caused by humidity
and climate conditions, are natural occurrences and are not covered under warranty.
15. Damage Liability
Upon delivery at the site, the risk and responsibility are transferred to the client. DTALE
OBJECT will not be held accountable for any damage resulting from:
Improper site conditions
Third-party handling
Structural instability of walls or floors
Environmental factors
The client is required to inspect the goods upon delivery and must report any visible
damages in writing immediately.
16. Intellectual Property
All drawings, renderings, and design concepts are the exclusive intellectual property of
DTALE OBJECT and cannot be reproduced or shared without written permission.
17. Confidentiality
Both parties commit to preserving the confidentiality of proprietary designs, pricing,
drawings, and business information, unless there is a mutual written agreement to disclose
such information.
18. Social Media & Portfolio Rights
As creators of custom designs, DTALE OBJECT retains the right to professionally showcase
completed projects for portfolio purposes, publications, awards, and brand representation.
Any confidentiality requirements should be formally stated and agreed upon in writing before
the project begins.
19. Force Majeure
DTALE OBJECT will not be liable for any delays or failures in performance caused by events
outside of our reasonable control. This includes, but is not limited to, natural disasters,
governmental restrictions, labor strikes, material shortages, transportation disruptions,
pandemics, or acts of war. In these instances, timelines will be extended without incurring any
penalties.
20. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
All disputes will be regulated by the laws of India. Jurisdiction will be exclusively under the
courts located in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India
